Taqi N. Al-Faraj is an Associate Professor at KFUPM Business School. He teaches Quantitative Methods for Management for both graduate and undergraduate levels. This includes Business Statistics, Quality Control, Operations Research/Management Science, and Production Management. He holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Research and Business Statistics from the University of Texas at Austin, USA in 1986. Dr. Al-Faraj attended and presented papers in many international conferences. His research interests include resource utilization, management quality control, financial planning and optimization techniques. His research publications appeared in very well recognized international refereed journals including: Journal of Operational Research Society, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management and European Journal of Engineering Educations among others.
